This is generally recommended for laboratory applications like small barrels for precious plating lines or small size jigs / baskets. It is guided on a mono track, mounted on a self supporting structure or can be suspended from the ceiling or roof truss. Hoisting is through a geared motor. Synthetic Polymer Belt which winds and unwinds on a drum, enables speed change during vertical movements. Traverse is by a special brake geared motor. This design is more suited to semi-automatic operations where high speed through-puts are not required. It is basically economical and space saving.
