These are typical multiple modules of electronic cards, as add-on based on the ultimate capacity. Though these units are very accurate, compact and have faster response to current supply, these are sensitive to surges in current / electronic systems.
Advantages
i. Modular construction.
ii. Very compact especially in low output ranges.
iii. Highly responsive to process control systems.
iv. Produces low ripple (less than 1%) at all output ranges.
Disadvantages
i. Uneconomical for higher output ranges.
ii. Needs clean environment.
iii. Can be serviced only by specialist.
iv. Stabilized power supply advisable. |
