Mass production units are specially designed for high efficiency at economical costs. The rims are jigged in stacks of 8 or more numbers in 2 or more columns, depending upon throughput desired. In the electrolyte tanks, the anodes are located at the epicenter, as well as the outer periphery of the rim, thus providing uniform plating on the entire circumference of the rim. The proportioning of the rim within the stack plays an important role in the finish obtained. The savings resulting from a dedicated rim plant is substantial when compared to general purpose installation. |
