We feel immense pleasure in sharing with all the associates that Dadra Plant has bagged 2nd Prize in Safety Award organized by Silvassa Industries Association in collaboration with Chief Inspectorate Factory and Boiler, Dadra and Nagar Haveli. The prize was given by honorable Shri S.K.Saxena, Director General Factory Advisory Services and Labour Institiute, Government of India, Mumbai, on dated 09.03.09 at Silvassa. The safety award was open to all the industries of Dadra and Nagar Haveli. The industries were categorized as large industries (Criteria: Annual turn over more than 150 crore and man power more than 150 nos.) and small industries (Criteria: Annual turn over less than 150 crore and man power less than 150 nos). We were in small industry. The first prize was awarded to M/s Monsanto India Limited an agricultural product multinational company.
In the large industries, Reliance Industries Limited bagged the 1st award and M/s Castrol India Limited got the 2nd award.
We were also participated in Safety Quiz and got third prize where as in slogan competition got consolation prize.
