Chrome plating in a decorative nickel-chrome system provides a tarnish resistant,pleasing bluish, brilliant, clear deposit on nickel plating. The deposit is hard and therefore resistant to abrasion and wear. Due to these properties, a very thin coating of 0.25 to 0.8 microns of chrome provides a durable and attractive finish. Thick hard chrome deposits are employed where good surface hardness, abrasion, wear resistance and anti-seize properties are desired. Hard Chromium is widely used for gauges, cutting tools, metal forming, drawing dies, machine parts such as piston rings, cylinder liners, crank shafts for marine and aeroplane engines, bearings hydraulic gears, salvage of worn and defective machinery parts, moulds and printing rollers.

High Efficiency Mixed Catalyst

Versatile mixed catalyzed system is suitable for decorative and hard chrome applications. They deposit at a faster rate and produce a rich bluish appearance. They also produce microcrack scattering at relatively higher deposit thickness.


High Efficiency Non Etching

High efficiency non-etching hard chrome plating process is a non fluoride system that produces bright chromium deposits with higher cathode efficiency at faster deposits. These are well balanced systems that are very easy to operate. Crack pattern in HENE L-500 is 300-400 cracks per linear cm whereas that in HENE L-600 system is 600-800 cracks per linear cm.


Black Chrome

New generation black chrome plating process produces attractive jet black finish after coated with Duroseal. Excellent choice for decorative and solar energy absorber.


Chrome Additives

An additive is used in the chromium plating bath to produce a highly stable foam blanket to avoid foaming out of chrome acid mist. It does not detoriate the catalyst balance. An optional additive can also be used to increase the cathode efficiency and the deposition rate. It increases the bluish appearance and deposit hardness.
